Webtime Promotions Customer Support SMTP Authentication First check your email program version by starting your email, then click on Help > About. Outlook Express 5.0 and up and Outlook 2000 and up 1. Click on Tools > Accounts. Select the "Mail Tab" at the top of the Internet Accounts box. 2. Click on the account, then click on Properties (to the right) 3. Select the Servers tab at the top. At the bottom of the Server page, click the Check box by "My server requires authentication" 4. Click on Apply, OK, Close. You will need to do this with all your email accounts that are hosted by Webtime Promotions. Eudora 4.3 and up 1. Click on the Personalities tab. 2. Right click on the Personality/Email Address to be Authenticated. Click on Properties. 3. Mid way down, under SMTP Server, check the Authentication allowed. 4. Click on OK You will need to do this with all your email accounts that are hosted by Webtime Promotions. Older Email Clients If you have an older email version without SMTP Authentication you have two options. 1. You can upgrade to a newer version of your email program.   A. You can download the new version of Outlook Express which comes free with Internet Explorer 6.0. Click Here to Download   B. You can download the new version of Eudora. There is a Free version and a Paid version. Click Here to Download 2. Call your Internet Provider (the company you connect to the internet with) and ask them what their SMTP Server address is. Generally it will be something like mail.internetprovider.com or smtp.internetprovider.com. Examples: mail.tyler.net mail.broadwayinternet.com smtp.cox-internet.com After you determine what your Internet provider's SMTP server address is, you will then need to change the Outgoing (SMTP) server in your email program to send your Outgoing mail through them.
